Soft Mounted Tee
Custom Shirt | Vinyl Heat Transfer
Really quick project done completely as a joke. Current Rotor Riot forum's hubbub is all about soft mounting motors. After attending Bud Light DRL's 2017 Tryouts Simulator Finals this past weekend at Webster Hall, a few friends and I were joking about the ever-changing "hot topics" in the drone community. Thus, the idea of "Soft Mounted" Tees came to surface.
Ordered on Siser vinyl heat transfers, mocked up a design and set the Silhouette Portrait to cut the vinyl. Quick clean up and ironed to a random black tee I had lying around.
Yes, obvious play on Supreme's logo. Font used was Futura Bold Italic. It's a joke.

Siser Easyweed Vinyl Heat Transfer

Seems like a largely trusted heat transfer in the apparel community. My first and only time applying one, so have nothing to compare it to. But applied easily with a home iron. I'm somewhat concerned if enough heat was applied, or if it may peel off in the wash (which would be completely user error from not enough heat and pressure. Using a home iron instead of a professional heat press).

Silhouette Portrait stencil cutter

I purchased this awhile back but haven't put it to much use. I've been waiting for an excuse to buy vinyl heat transfer to play around with the stencil cutter some more. Finally an opportunity presented itself.
